PRESIDENT
David Peterson brings thirty years of successful practice to the area of Audio Visual system engineering and design. For the past Sixteen years he has been managing projects for audio visual industry leaders such as Robert Oswood with Synergistic Design Associates and for the partners of Shen Milsom and Wilke. Prior to that, David worked in the MEP engineering industry, designing various types of electrical systems. This experience has given David a clear understanding of raceway and power systems which has proven to be a secret to his success as an AV designer. His expertise has been utilized for local, national and international assignments.
As principle, David oversees all aspects of the firm’s consultation and design. He excels at the art of simplifying complex systems and has a remarkable ability to communicate with all affected contractors. Much of David’s time is devoted to making sure that detailed audio visual infrastructure plans are developed and understood before construction begins. David takes great pride in helping the design team produce a smooth and well-managed project.
MERELY PLAYERS COMMUNITY THEATER, INC
Past President, the community theater provides a creative and technical outlet for David. The community is comprised of many talented people. David provides administrative leadership along with set design, set construction, audio and lighting support.
EASE LEVEL II CERTIFIED
Sound reinforcement is the most technically demanding portion of the AV industry. David's successful completion and certification in the EASE program provides a glimpse into his dedication to the craft. Enhanced Acoustic Simulator for Engineers is a program used to predict the success of sound system designs. Level II Certification indicates that Mr. Peterson understands not only the sonic needs of a space but also the acoustical needs of the listener (participant).
